Font #59: Dynamic Slanted Pro
07.04.09 12:00
A 15 degree slant, and this speedier variant of Dynamic BRK Pro is ready for use (for those who use software where you cannot slant the upright version yourself ;)

Font #58: Matrise Pro
05.04.09 12:00
A new font in the style of a dot matrix/needle-printer. I have used some slightly smaller dots when designing the diacritics - this makes them easier to separate from the main letters. I have also used variable letter widths (and kerning), as opposed to the technology's original monospaced design - this to make the text more readable :)

Font #57: Velvenda Cooler Pro
22.03.09 12:00
It's been unusually long since the last update, but I have some nice surprises up my sleeve... ;) This release is a very tight and very black font where (almost ;) all letters have the same height. The original font had a good glyph-set, but some bad diacritics. I have also redesigned some glyphs, and added some kerning - not much was needed for this compact design, though... ;) Ray Larabie says: "Ultra-heavy condensed display type. 1960’s style, and inspired by a Sixties font called “Stark”. Comes in three styles: “Velvenda Cooler” was created in 2002 and has thicker counters for use in smaller print."

Font #56: King Cool KC Pro
25.02.09 12:00
The first font from Kimberly Geswein to receive the CheapProFonts treatment! :) A funny and quirky handwritten script - with an original "monoheight" letter design. It is cute and adorable, and now available for setting text in most latin-based languages. :)

Font #55: Stone Hinge Pro
15.02.09 12:00
Wow, new releases two days in a row! :) This font has sort of a rustic an ancient look, like stone carvings... The lowercase j has been redesigned to better fit with the other letters, and I've also made an alternate f (as contextual alternate) to make a tighter fit with following tall letters.

Font #54: Kimberley Pro
14.02.09 12:00
A very fat and filling font - perfect for setting quite solid blocks of text. I have redesigned all the diacritics to make them match the fonts sturdy look. And expanded it, of course ;) Ray Larabie says: "A blocky early 1970’s style stovepipe font."

Font #53: Type Keys Pro
03.02.09 12:00
A range of retro initials mimicking the keys of an old style typewriter - the positive version of our previous release: Type Keys Filled Pro.

Font #52: Type Keys Filled Pro
27.01.09 12:00
A range of retro initials mimicking the keys of an old style typewriter. Expanded from just a basic ASCII character set to our usual large CheapProFonts selection of glyphs. (I'm not sure all of them appears in the beginning of words, though ;)

Font #51: Copasetic NF Pro
17.01.09 12:00
Another typical Art Deco font from Nick Curtis. Uppercase only, but with alternate letterforms in the lowercase positions. I have completely redesigned all the diacritics (which were way too flimsy for this robust design ;) before expanding the character set in the usual fashion.

The 50th font on CheapProFonts! YAY! :)This font is an expanded, multilingual version of Bitstream Vera Serif - as made freely available by Bitstream through the Gnome project. One of our bestsellers has just become even better. Celtic Garamond Pro has been polished up, and at the same time I have made to companions: A Bold version - for more emphasis! A Rough version - for a more antique look! Enjoy! :)

Wow! It has been 8 years since my last entry! Time flies! This is just a quick note to let you all know this site and its owner is still alive. There are no new fonts being reworked and released at the moment, though - I am too busy with my daytime job and other projects.
