We have sorted out the licensing issues - so the license for the fonts offered through this site is now a bit longer that the very basic one I suggested at first, but it is still very simple and generous compared to other commercial fonts.

I'm extremely happy to announce that Ray Larabie (of Larabie fonts, natch) -one of the most widely known freefont makers- is onboard as well! :) This gives me another couple of hundred excellent fonts in very various styles to rework. Thanks, Ray! :D

I want to stick to PayPal, as I've been using that for years myself. It's a simple and elegant payment method (that also relieves me of many security and fraud issues), but their sandbox (testing) setup is buggy beyond useability :(
Looks like I just have to set it up and test with some real transactions...

I'm totally psyched: Nick Curtis (of Nicks fonts) was very positive to the project, and will even supply me with updated files for me to work on - an amazing collection of 250 fonts are now available for me to rework! Thanks Nick! :D

Found a very good, comprehensive shopping cart solution which also offers hosting AND have a free 30-day trial. This is just what the doctor ordered! :) I can test it out live before I decide, and it also gives me a whole month of working time before I have to spend any money on it - perfect! It will probably take some time to get the design right, and setting up an e-commerce site IS a big and time-consuming job. Thank god for the holiday season - I can work full time on it for days! ;)

Well, he turned me down. Turns out he had been badly burned by the whole freefont scene, and wouldn't have anything to do with it anymore - concentrating his efforts on his own commercial fonts.
This of course makes me have doubts about my sites future, but I keep working!
